There are two ways to install the NMI Payment Gateway in Opencart. One is the paid version called Network Merchants(NMI) Quick Click Integration by Qphoria and the free version is NMI-AIM Payment Module by JNeuhoff. Before you install NMI, you should have an account with them first.
Below are the steps on how you can install NMI in OpenCart.
For the OpenCart NMI Paid Version
- Simply Upload the zip file
- Extract the file in the root directory of your store.
- Login in the Store Admin
- Activate and Configure Plugin
For the OpenCart NMI Free Version
- You will need to have a VQMOD installed on your site, if you don’t have VQMOD, You can download it here
- Upload the zip file
- Extract the file in the root directory of your store.
- Login in the Store Admin
- Go to Extensions>Payment
- Edit Authorize.net
- Set Username with the same NMI Username account and for the transaction key, you will be using your account password.
- Set Transaction server to NMI Authorize.net Emulator
- Save
If you are unable to see the NMI Authroize.net Emulator in the transaction server using OpenCart NMI Free Version,, it means you have not installed it properly.
